Finally I get my ass back to Toronto.
Got a litte jet lag, I got up in the morning and tweezed my eyebrows hahahaha
This is the first day I spent in here, so I went downtown to see a friend from PolyU. Since I lived at 19th and 9th avenue, which is freakin freakin far, I needed to take the GO transit downtown. I had no clue where I was that's why I needed a map.
Got lost even though I had a map in my hands.
Luckily, I met a guy who was walking his dogs. He showed me the way to the station, and asked me if I needed a ride. So nice....
Then following his instructions, I still got stuck in a crossroad. A black guy walked by and said, "Take the left one. It's faster." I probably looked too lost that people had to say something to me. Then he walked with me to the station.
This is what I meant "feels like home". Everybody's so friendly, helping out the neighbours.
Arrived downtown in an hour, I walked in the supermarket I used to go a lot. Geez... the 10 millions types of cheese, $2.99 Breyer's ice-cream, 10 thousands types of salad dressings, 3/$10 2L yogurts, skim milk in plastic bags, different types of oven made dinner. THIS IS so GREAT.
God I LUV Canada, even though it's freakin' cold out there.
Oh.. it was nice talking to him again. He kept saying, "OMG, I can't believe you're here already." But the thing is, I am not there yet. He's gonna be busy this week + saturday and I found out that I have way too many activities during this weekend. Therefore, I decided to visit after my placement, which is mid March. It's nice to hear from him from North America.
